I am delighted to be selected to once again stand to represent my local community. I have had the honour of being the County Councillor for West Bridgford South for the past three and a half years. During this time, we have seen over £1.5m spent on local highways and safety projects spent in the local area. This includes:
- Road resurfacing on Stamford Road, Valley Road, Earlswood Drive, Exchange Road, Trevor Road and Carnarvon Road
- New Pavements on Dovedale and Devonshire Road
- New Pedestrian Crossings on Alford Road and Musters Road
- Interactive Speed Signs on Melton Road and Melton Gardens
- In the upcoming Financial year, resurfacing on Gordon Road and Haddon Road
Using my Councillors Divisional Fund, I have supported the following, to name a few:
- Purchasing Defibrillators to be sited at Edwalton Post Office, Gamston Community Hall, Mad Dog Sports, and funding towards the one on St Paul's Church
- Edwalton School Farm
- Jesse Grey School
- Gamston Pierrepont School
- Nottingham Gymnastics Academy
- The Vernon Family
- Leahurst Road Pre-School
- Trent Valley First Responders
- Rushcliffe Asian Community Association
- West Bridgford Scouts
I promised when I stood for election last time, I would fight for our fair share, after years of neglect. I am proud to have honoured that commitment.
I ask that you once again put your trust in me, and I will fight once again for the best for our community. If you would like to contact me to find out more, please email [email protected]
Thanks
Jonathan
