The Police have advised that the fire at Compton Acres shops is being treated as

arson (intentional fire damage) but there have been no arrests made at this time.

They appeal for any information from the community to help move this important

investigation forward and are still trying to identify a man seen on the cycle who

may be a suspect for the arson. The Charity Shops are unlikely to re-open any

earlier than May according to the Managing Agents. This is because there have

numerous site meetings with the insurers and their loss adjuster to determine

what works require doing. A huge thank you goes to the community who have

taken donations to ASDA in West Bridgford whilst the Charity shops remain closed.
