Conservative County Councillor Gordon Wheeler, and Borough Councillor Alan Phillips, are delighted to have secured an interactive speed sign on Landmere Lane. The local Conservative Councillors have worked closely with the local community in submitting a case to Nottinghamshire County Council on the need for the sign to encourage motorists to slow down and respect speed limits. Gordon and Alan are very grateful to residents in helping to deliver a strong case and successful bid. The Interactive Speed Sign complements both the signs we have on Compton Acres road, and the signs on Wilford Lane and Loughborough Road (3). All are within the West Bridgford West Division, where Gordon is the County Councillor, and Alan and Gordon are the Rushcliffe Borough Councillors for Compton Acres Ward.
