We would like to thank everyone who voted for Tony Harper and the Conservative Party for the Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner Election. Rushcliffe had a turnout of 27.47% of the eligible voters, against the average in Nottingham of 21.8%, and Tony Harper for the Conservatives topped the poll in Rushcliffe. Unfortunately this was not replicated across Nottinghamshire, and Tony Harper was beaten after a second round of voting by the incumbent Paddy Tipping. Tony put a lot of time and effort into his campaign, and everyone at Rushcliffe Conservatives would like to thank him for his efforts, and to the many volunteers who helped the campaign. Your elected Rushcliffe Conservative Councillors will work hard to hold the PCC to account, and push for the very best standards in policing in Rushcliffe.
