The first Ruddington Village Market was launched at 9am this morning, Sat 2nd February, at the White Horse Inn in the centre of Ruddington village.
This event was organised by the Ruddington Village Centre Partnership and the White Horse Inn.
All current Rushcliffe Borough Councillors and new candidates were present to support this great new initiative.
With the closing down of the fruit and veg shop, there is a determination to not only support the village shops to survive, but to thrive!
To that end, the RVCP launched a loyalty card last year to support the existing shops and to encourage villagers to shop locally in the village. This is becoming increasingly successful.
Retaining the identity and beauty of Ruddington as a village is important to all three Conservative councillors, and is a key part of our commitment going forwards.
